Make International Calls using B3G
Do you know you can call your B3G and make International Skype calls through it?
Yes. Even when you are not around your computer you can still make use of the cheap Skype long distance and international phone calls.
What is neccessary for this setup? You need to connect the Yealink B3G to your computer, the PSTN line, and setup a password. After that, the most important thing is remembering your password. When you dial your home phone while on the road, you will need to enter the password to activate the PSTN-to-Skype diverting function. You can then use Skype speed dial to make PC-to-PC calls, or you can use SkypeOut to make PC-to-Phone calls. You literally have the world at your cellphone fingertips, ready for inexpensive (or free!) communications.

Here is a real-world application: Your dad wants to dial international calls to Japan so he can talk to his old high school classmates, but he does not have the broadband access at home to make calls through Skype. No problem. You have the ADSL service, and you have the Yealink B3G setup on your computer with Skype software. You can buy some SkypeOut credit and tell your dad about the procedure to use B3G. So now your dad can make the $0.02 per-minute call to Japan. He is happy because he can talk to his old friend. Now, you are happy because your dad is happy. Just make sure your dad does not give out the password.
