Yealink W1D Skype phone has been replaced by the next generation product Yealink Fonaso W1DL Skype phone. The primary difference between these two phones is the operating range. W1DL has a range of over 160ft and is designed to be used within a house; while W1DL has a range of 32ft and is designed to be used within a room.

Recent support contacts have indicated that Yealink products are not fully compatible with Intel processor-based Mac systems, and sometimes will not behave properly with some G5 systems.
