Skype Slow in Responding to PayPal Siphoning Problem

10/31/2008

When you set up your Skype account, if you let Skype auto-charge your PayPal account, you should watch your PayPal account activities liked a hawk before your money disappears.

The Register has reported that many Skype users' PayPal accounts have been debited repeatedly without any reasons. Furthermore Skype customer service has been slow in responding to complaints. These Skype users are frustrated. We have confirmed the report by doing a quick search on Skype forum.

To protect yourself, it is best to disable the PayPal auto-charge feature in your Skype account settings.
