What’s that? You want to play music on your loud-and-clear speakers while conducting Skype calls on your USB phone? Or you want to play regular PC sounds on the PC speaker while only having Skype conversations over the USB phone? No problem. Just follow the steps below.

Step 1. Set the Windows’ default sound playback device as the default sound card.

From your Windows desktop, select Start / Control_Panel / Sounds, Speech, and Audio Device / Sounds and Audio devices / Audio Tab / Sound playback / "Your PC default Sound device"

Step 2. Set the Skype sound device as the USB phone.

Open Skype, select Tools / Options / Audio Settings / Speakers (Microphone) / "Generic USB Audio Device"
