What are the benefits of Skype?

There are numerous benefits to using Skype, many which are explained throughout our Skype Knowledge Base. The biggest benefit of using Skype is the ability to process free phone calls to other Skype users throughout the world. International businesses are also enjoying the Skype's advance features, such as video conferencing, voice mail, and multiple user conference calls. Also, international calls from SkypeOut accounts to normal phone lines are a fraction of normal long distance rates.

 One could section Skype into its main parts:

• SkypeIN: Provides user a phone number where the outside world can call into
• SkypeOUT: Allows the user to make calls out to cellphones and landlines
• VoiceMail: Pretty much the as it sounds, allows callers to leave you a message if you are not avialabe
• Video Calls: Calls via computer can add Video if the computer has a webcam attached
• Chat: Similar to other instant messaging programs, allows you to text chat through your comptuer to another person's computer
